Purchased for use during emergencies and power outages. As anyone who has been through a hurricane and or other long-term power loss causing event, when you have multiple days without power any light produced by flame is a nono since it produces an equal or greater amount of heat. Standard flashlights aren’t really an answer beyond a few hours since the batteries die and their limited light output make them useless for general lighting … I wanted a longer term, bright solution with minimal heat production that could light a room – and boy, these little lanterns more than satisfy! Barely taller than a soda can, and just slightly thicker these lights more than meet requirements most people would need! It is bright enough to light my two story entry hall, with no shadows in the corners – and most definitely will handle any standard room without issue. Easy to hang from a hook or existing light fixture and super safe around kids and pets since there is no open flame or appreciable heat.
✔The Ultra Bright LED Lantern is EXTREMELY bright even if you don’t open it completely. I just slide the top upwards until it comes on (less than a inch) and that gives me enough light to read by and then some. It is so easy to use. NO buttons. Slides upward to turn on and down to turn off
